Meet Rachel

I believe the best interiors begin with the architecture. Every project starts with understanding a home's history, character, and potential before thoughtfully shaping spaces that are beautiful, functional, and enduring.

I am an award-winning, NCIDQ-certified interior designer with a master's degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University. My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for architectural history and a belief that thoughtful design should enhance a home's original character while adapting it for contemporary living.

I specialize in the renovation of architecturally significant homes, particularly modern and mid-century residences,  as well as the design of custom contemporary interiors. Rather than following trends, I strive to create spaces that feel authentic, timeless, and deeply connected to the people who live in them. Every project is guided by a careful balance of aesthetics, function, craftsmanship, and respect for the architecture itself.

In addition to my design practice, I serve as Program Director of the Interior Design program at Scottsdale Community College, where I have the privilege of educating and mentoring the next generation of interior designers. Teaching and professional practice continually inform one another, allowing me to bring both academic rigor and real-world experience to every project.

My work encompasses interior remodeling, custom millwork and cabinetry design, furnishings, art and accessory curation, exterior color palette development, and outdoor living environments. Whether restoring a historic residence or creating a contemporary home from the ground up, my goal is always the same: to design spaces that feel as though they have always belonged.
